Jesper started his career as a banker in his native country Denmark, where he also worked for Ford Motor Company and Arthur Andersen. However, the last two decades, he focused on start-up companies. In 2011 he founded ExpatRide because he wanted to solve the challenges he faced as a newly-arrived expat in New York trying to lease a car without having a U.S. credit history. Jesper has lived 17 years abroad in Singapore, Germany, and the U.S. In his spare time; he’s also focused on the needs of expats, being the founder of Denmark’s largest international business network and the former President of the Danish American Chamber of Commerce in New York. In 2013 Jesper was awarded the honorary title of Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador by His Royal Highness Prince Joachim of Denmark. The title was awarded in recognition of an outstanding dedication to serving the Capital of Denmark pro bono.
